Therm's Quality Management System was originally certified to the ISO standard on September 1st, 1994. As this Standard has evolved and then became the framework for the expanded Aerospace Standard AS9000 in 1997, Therm has continued to maintain our full registration to both of these Quality Standards with an internationally recognized Certification Body, Bureau Veritas Quality International, B.V.Q.I.
In addition to this Therm began certifying our Special Processes to the SAE Aerospace Standard AS7003 in 1993 through PRI and the Nadcap Management Council beginning with Non-Destructive Testing/Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, FPI. Over the intervening years, Welding, Heat Treating, Surface Enhancement (Shot-Peen) and Non-conventional Machining (Electric Discharge Machining/EDM) were added.
Therm has an ASNT certified Level III on site for NDT/FPI and several of the Quality Engineers are certified and delegated as the source representatives for all of the major OEM customers.
